Why did you become a coach?
I love to help others realize their potential and achieve things they did not think were possible. It never gets old to see someone smash a self limiting belief.
Favorite treat/cheat meal?
Peanut butter and jelly

What is your athletic background?
I was definitely not an athlete growing up! Picked last for teams and everything. I started running in my late 20s, and after years of endurance running and triathlons, a stress fracture caused me to rethink long distances. I found CrossFit in 2009 and have never looked back! These days it’s a combination of WODs, lifting, and yoga.
What is your morning Routine?
I USED to be a 5am runner, then a 5am CrossFitter. NOW I prefer to wake up naturally around 6:30, have some coffee, meditate, and ease into the day by journaling and making a to do list.
What is your favorite hobby?
Besides lifting and WODs and yoga? Traveling, exploring KC, hanging out with family and friends, reading.
When do you workout?
Any advice to someone who is just getting started?
You definitely CAN do it. Believe in yourself, take it slow, appreciate and respect the journey.

Is “everything” an answer? Ok, anything with a barbell, pull-ups, burpees
