What is your favorite movement?

The overhead squat.  It is the ultimate test of balance, stability and mobility all in one.

What is your morning routine?

Wake up at 4:30am, sneak downstairs with the dog trying desperately to not wake my wife or child.  I do about 10 minutes of foam rolling/mobility/core stability work and then head to either coach or workout at 5:15am.  Coffee is rewarded following the workout.

Why did you become a coach?

I saw a lot of parallels between coaching and physical therapy.  I personally noticed changes in my own body when I started doing CrossFit and I began taking more and more of it back to my practice.  Coaching allows me to work with people of all walks of life and teach them how to move correctly so they can be healthy and elevate their quality of life.

Any advice to someone who is just getting started?

Ask questions!  It’s way easier to ask questions about movements/terminology/etc rather than just trying to figure it out.  Plus, it gives you a chance to engage with and get to know coaches and other members.
