"I joined 2020 Fitness the summer of 2015 after a year or so as a bourbon loving couch potato.  Two years later my fitness was greatly improved but my frustration was mounting on the health and weight front.  I had heard the “you can’t out work a bad diet”.  I'd also heard the Whole30 pitch for the last two years and finally, the slow learner in me decided to give it try.  That was this past August.  

2017 was a year of transformation. On January 9, 2017, I clocked in at 221 lbs.  Needless to say, neither my doctor nor I was very happy about it.  I had been doing the hard work at the gym regularly, but could not lose the pounds.  I was stuck and angry. Enter Whole30 and the start of "Operation Kill Fat Jason". To say it changed my life is slightly melodramatic but pretty darn close.  Was it easy?  I ashamedly say yes.  Did it suck at times? You bet, but only the first 14 days.  I am lucky and blessed with the most awesome wife who also happens to be an incredible cook., The entire family buy-in was key (maybe not my son,Jack, but he doesn’t get a vote).  After 30 days we were feeling amazing and seeing some results.  It was the next month or so where we saw the most amazing results.  

So it’s now 2018 and "Operation Kill Fat Jason" Day #149. I feel amazing, I still love my occasional bourbon, my workouts have never been better and I proudly say that as of this morning I weighed in at 183 lbs.  I found something that works. I like it, my wife likes it, it’s pretty easy and I am scared S#@$less to stop."
